This figure is important for two reasons. Firstly, it si important so that you do not end up paying too much or accepting too little, ending up bound to a deal that is not in your favour. Secondly, it is important that you know what this figure is, as offering too little may offend the opposing party, who may walk away from the negotiation and the business deal.
